Ahab came into his house sullen and angry because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him; for he had said, "I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers." He laid himself down on his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

Hebrew ויבא אחאב אל־ביתו סר וזעף על־הדבר אשר־דבר אליו נבות היזרעאלי ויאמר לא־אתן לך את־נחלת אבותי וישכב על־מטתו ויסב את־פניו ולא־אכל לחם׃
Greek και εγενετο το πνευμα αχααβ τεταραγμενον και εκοιμηθη επι της κλινης αυτου και συνεκαλυψεν το πρωσωπον αυτου και ουκ εφαγεν
Latin Venit ergo Achab in domum suam indignans, et frendens super verbo, quod locutus fuerat ad eum Naboth Jezrahelites, dicens : Non dabo tibi hæreditatem patrum meorum. Et projiciens se in lectulum suum, avertit faciem suam ad parietem, et non comedit panem.
KJV And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.
