Hebrew ויגד יהונתן לדוד לאמר מבקש שאול אבי להמיתך ועתה השמר־נא בבקר וישבת בסתר ונחבאת׃
Greek και απηγγειλεν ιωναθαν τω δαυιδ λεγων σαουλ ζητει θανατωσαι σε φυλαξαι ουν αυριον πρωι και κρυβηθι και καθισον
Latin Et indicavit Jonathas David dicens : Quærit Saul pater meus occidere te : quapropter observa te, quæso, mane, et manebis clam, et absconderis.
KJV But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself:
