Hebrew והנה אם נלחץ הוא לנחמתכם ולישועתכם אשר יראה כחה בסבלכם הענוים אשר נסבל אתן גם אנחנו ואם ננחם גם הוא לנחמתכם ולישועתכם׃
Greek ειτε δε θλιβομεθα υπερ της υμων παρακλησεως και σωτηριας ειτε παρακαλουμεθα υπερ της υμων παρακλησεως της ενεργουμενης εν υπομονη των αυτων παθηματων ων και ημεις πασχομεν και η ελπις ημων βεβαια υπερ υμων
Latin Sive autem tribulamur pro vestra exhortatione et salute, sive consolamur pro vestra consolatione, sive exhortamur pro vestra exhortatione et salute, quæ operatur tolerantiam earumdem passionum, quas et nos patimur :
KJV And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
