Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war [fled] by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden (now the Chaldeans were against the city around it); and [the king] went by the way of the Arabah.

Hebrew ותבקע העיר וכל־אנשי המלחמה הלילה דרך שער בין החמתים אשר על־גן המלך וכשדים על־העיר סביב וילך דרך הערבה׃
Greek και ερραγη η πολις και παντες οι ανδρες του πολεμου εξηλθον νυκτος οδον πυλης της ανα μεσον των τειχεων αυτη η εστιν του κηπου του βασιλεως και οι χαλδαιοι επι την πολιν κυκλω και επορευθη οδον την
Latin Et interrupta est civitas : et omnes viri bellatores nocte fugerunt per viam portæ, quæ est inter duplicem murum ad hortum regis. Porro Chaldæi obsidebant in circuitu civitatem. Fugit itaque Sedecias per viam, quæ ducit ad campestria solitudinis.
KJV And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees were against the city round about:) and the king went the way toward the plain.
