Hebrew ויהי מקץ ארבעים שנה ויאמר אבשלום אל־המלך אלכה נא ואשלם את־נדרי אשר־נדרתי ליהוה בחברון׃
Greek και εγενετο απο τελους τεσσαρακοντα ετων και ειπεν αβεσσαλωμ προς τον πατερα αυτου πορευσομαι δη και αποτεισω τας ευχας μου ας ηυξαμην τω κυριω εν
Latin Post quadraginta autem annos, dixit Absalom ad regem David : Vadam, et reddam vota mea quæ vovi Domino in Hebron.
KJV And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.
