Hebrew ויאמר המלך אל־הכושי השלום לנער לאבשלום ויאמר הכושי יהיו כנער איבי אדני המלך וכל אשר־קמו עליך לרעה׃ ס
Greek και ειπεν ο βασιλευς προς τον χουσι ει ειρηνη τω παιδαριω τω αβεσσαλωμ και ειπεν ο χουσι γενοιντο ως το παιδαριον οι εχθροι του κυριου μου του βασιλεως και παντες οσοι επανεστησαν επ' αυτον εις
Latin Dixit autem rex ad Chusi : Estne pax puero Absalom ? Cui respondens Chusi : Fiant, inquit, sicut puer, inimici domini mei regis, et universi qui consurgunt adversus eum in malum.
KJV And the king said unto Cushi, Is the young man Absalom safe? And Cushi answered, The enemies of my lord the king, and all that rise against thee to do thee hurt, be as that young man is.
