Hebrew ויצו המלך את־יואב ואת־אבישי ואת־אתי לאמר לאט־לי לנער לאבשלום וכל־העם שמעו בצות המלך את־כל־השרים על־דבר אבשלום׃
Greek και ενετειλατο ο βασιλευς τω ιωαβ και τω αβεσσα και τω εθθι λεγων φεισασθε μοι του παιδαριου του αβεσσαλωμ και πας ο λαος ηκουσεν εντελλομενου του βασιλεως πασιν τοις αρχουσιν υπερ
Latin Et præcepit rex Joab, et Abisai, et Ethai, dicens : Servate mihi puerum Absalom. Et omnis populus audiebat præcipientem regem cunctis principibus pro Absalom.
KJV And the king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Deal gently for my sake with the young man, even with Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge concerning Absalom.
