Hebrew את האיש הזה תפשו היהודים ויבקשו המיתו ואבא עם אנשי הצבא ואפלטהו מתוכם בשמעי כי רומי הוא׃
Greek τον ανδρα τουτον συλλημφθεντα υπο των ιουδαιων και μελλοντα αναιρεισθαι υπ αυτων επιστας συν τω στρατευματι εξειλαμην μαθων οτι ρωμαιος εστιν
Latin Virum hunc comprehensum a Judæis, et incipientem interfici ab eis, superveniens cum exercitu eripui, cognito quia Romanus est.
KJV This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman.
