Hebrew וירמז ההגמון אל פולוס לדבר ויען ויאמר יען אשר ידעתי כי זה כמה שנים שופט אתה לעם הזה הנני מצטדק בלב בטוח על עניני׃
Greek απεκριθη τε ο παυλος νευσαντος αυτω του ηγεμονος λεγειν εκ πολλων ετων οντα σε κριτην τω εθνει τουτω επισταμενος ευθυμως τα περι εμαυτου απολογουμαι
Latin Respondit autem Paulus (annuente sibi præside dicere) : Ex multis annis te esse judicem genti huic sciens, bono animo pro me satisfaciam.
