For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not commit murder." Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

Hebrew כי האמר לא תנאף גם הוא אמר לא תרצח ואם אינך נאף ואתה רוצח היה נהיית לעבר התורה׃
Greek ο γαρ ειπων μη μοιχευσης ειπεν και μη φονευσης ει δε ου μοιχευεις φονευεις δε γεγονας παραβατης νομου
Latin Qui enim dixit : Non mœchaberis, dixit et : Non occides. Quod si non mœchaberis, occides autem, factus es transgressor legis.
KJV For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
WEB For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not commit murder." Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
