Hebrew הוא פגש בראשונה את שמעון אחיו ויאמר אליו את המשיח מצאנו אשר תרגומו כריסטוס׃
Greek ευρισκει ουτος πρωτον τον αδελφον τον ιδιον σιμωνα και λεγει αυτω ευρηκαμεν τον μεσσιαν ο εστιν μεθερμηνευομενον χριστος
Latin Invenit hic primum fratrem suum Simonem, et dicit ei : Invenimus Messiam (quod est interpretatum Christus).
KJV He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
WEB He first found his own brother, Simon, and said to him, "We have found the Messiah!" (which is, being interpreted, Christ).
