Hebrew והתרנגל קרא פעם שנית ויזכר פטרוס את הדבר אשר אמר לו ישוע בטרם יקרא התרנגל פעמים תכחש בי שלש פעמים וישם אל לבו ויבך׃
Greek και ευθυς εκ δευτερου αλεκτωρ εφωνησεν και ανεμνησθη ο πετρος το ρημα ως ειπεν αυτω ο ιησους οτι πριν αλεκτορα τρις με απαρνηση και επιβαλων εκλαιεν
Latin Et statim gallus iterum cantavit. Et recordatus est Petrus verbi, quod dixerat ei Jesus : Priusquam gallus cantet bis, ter me negabis. Et cœpit flere.
KJV And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
