Hebrew אך אין להם שרש בקרבם ורק לשעה יעמדו ואחר כן בהיות צרה ורדיפה על אדות הדבר מהרה יכשלו׃
Greek και ουκ εχουσιν ριζαν εν εαυτοις αλλα προσκαιροι εισιν ειτα γενομενης θλιψεως η διωγμου δια τον λογον ευθυς σκανδαλιζονται
Latin et non habent radicem in se, sed temporales sunt : deinde orta tribulatione et persecutione propter verbum, confestim scandalizantur.
KJV And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
