The Parable of the Sower is a parable that Jesus used to illustrate how people who hear and accept God's word word "produce a harvest of thirty, sixty or even a hundred times as much as had been planted"<ref>[[Mark 4:20]] ([[New Living Translation]])</ref>"
The parable is recorded in all of the [[synopic synoptic gospels]] (in [[Matthew 13]]:1-23, [[Mark 4]]:1-20, [[Luke 8]]:1-15).
