"Stub" pages that need work
There are plenty of pages that have only minimal content and require a lot of work. A link to the list of stubs can be found here: Stub
Starting A New Page
New pages can be created by following a link to a nonexistent page ("red link") or by editing the last part of the URL of another page in the same project. It is useful to create a page by following a link, or create links to the new page right after creating the page, to avoid the new page being isolated. You can search for any existing articles with the same or similar content and create a new page if none exists. In order to create a new page, go to any relevant existing pages, and enclose the word or words in double square brackets [[like this]] and the link will be displayed like this

Style
When editing or creating a page, there are no set guidelines as to what the page should look like or how it should be laid out. The following are some ideas, but by no means prescriptive rules that need to be followed
Different sorts of pages may include
- Contents page of a topic
- Why have contents pages? Why not make this like wikipedia? These are reasonable questions. If you are creating a page for a topic, you do not need to make a contents page. There are many advantages to a contents page for the topic however, including:
- The page doesn't get absolutely enormous
- People can write specific sub-page that contain opinions
- If this was only meant to be an encyclopedia, then Wikipedia would suffice, and there would be no need for WikiChristian - having a contents page allows this to be more a text-book and forum for discussion than a plain encyclopedia
- How to lay-out a contents page? If creatining or editing a contents page, one standardized approach could be as follows (for an example see the Grace contents page)
- Start with a famous quote or a Bible quote
- Then have a brief 2 or 3 sentence summary or definition of the subject
- Then have a sub-heading Definitions / explanations followed by links to specific articles defining or explaining the topic
- Then have a sub-heading Articles / opinions followed by (1) a link where people can write short comments and opinions about the topic and (2) links of longer opinion articles
- Then have a sub-heading Quotes followed by links for famous quotes about the topic, and Bible quotes about the topic
- Then have other miscellaneous sub-headings, depending on the topic, these may include: Travel stories, Testimonies, Songs about, Famous people etc...
- Why have contents pages? Why not make this like wikipedia? These are reasonable questions. If you are creating a page for a topic, you do not need to make a contents page. There are many advantages to a contents page for the topic however, including:
