Genesis tells us that, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth". Later, in the New Testament, the apostle John wrote that, "All things were made by him (Jesus Christ)".
Although all Christians agree that God is the creator, there is some debate about how God created the earth. Views range from 7-day literalistic creation science to intelligent design to God creating the scientific laws that allowed the process of evolution.
