Controversial topic!
Discussions about this topic are sometimes hotly debated and can easily offend. If making a value judgement or voicing an opinion, be sure to write it gently and with the aim of avoiding offence. If an article is voicing opinions that you disagree with, it is best to leave that article unchanged and instead create a new link explaining your alternating view.

In brief: Believer's baptism is the doctrine that baptism is an outward sign of regeneration that occurs when a person puts his faith in Christ, and as such baptism is only appropriate for believing adults, and not for infants.
