Hebrew שמעו אחי אהובי הלא בעניי העולם הזה בחר האלהים להיות עשירים באמונה וירשי המלכות אשר הבטיח לאהביו׃
Greek ακουσατε αδελφοι μου αγαπητοι ουχ ο θεος εξελεξατο τους πτωχους τω κοσμω πλουσιους εν πιστει και κληρονομους της βασιλειας ης επηγγειλατο τοις αγαπωσιν αυτον
Latin Audite, fratres mei dilectissimi : nonne Deus elegit pauperes in hoc mundo, divites in fide, et hæredes regni, quod repromisit Deus diligentibus se ?
KJV Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
