Synopsis
The Book of Malachi is a book of the Old Testament written by the prophet Malachi. Malachi directed a message of judgement to a people plagued with corrupt priests, sinful practices, and a false sense of security in their privileged relationship with God. For four hundred years after Malachi's ringing condemnations, there were no prophets, until John the Baptist.
