Jesus as the Son of God
The study of Jesus Christ is called Christology.

Jesus as the Son of God
Jesus as the Son of God denotes the fact that, as a man, Jesus was begotten of the Father and generated in conception through divine means. Jesus' conception in Mary was done through the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20). He was begotten of the Father to take on the same nature of man, which includes human flesh (John 1:14).

Scripture is clear that the Son pre-existed prior to his incarnation. Jesus was involved in the Creation (John 1:1-3) and is denoted as having existed before all things were created (see Colossians 1:16-17).
