The Raëlian Movement is a religious organization which believes that scientifically advanced extraterrestrials known as the Elohim (one of the words used to refer to [[God]] in the [[Old Testament]]) created life on Earth through genetic engineering, and that a combination of human cloning and "mind transfer" can ultimately provide immortality. Raëlism is a new religious movement, started by Claude Vorilhon (born 1946).
