Rome

Rome is the capital city of Italy. It was the centre of the Roman Empire which ruled during the time of Jesus, and today it is the where the Vatican is located, which is the centre of the Roman Catholic Church and sometimes the term "Rome" is used to mean the "Roman Catholic Church"
