The Passion of the Christ (2004) is a film about the last twelve hours of the life of Jesus. The film portrays the emotion of these hours powerfully with it's dialogue in Latin, Hebrew, and Aramaic, which was probably Jesus' mother tongue. There are English subtitles.

The movie, directed by Mel Gibson, was filmed in Matera, Italy and Cinecittà Studios, Rome, Italy.
