===History===The country can trace it's origins back to imperial England. With the discovery of the Americas, many English Protestants found the new colonies as the perfect place to gain religious freedom from a persecuting government. They boarded the Mayflower and two other America bound ships and headed for the New World. The Americans grew tired of continually raised tariffs and taxes that were forced on them without a defending voice. The colonists grew angry, and in 1776, signed the Declaration of Independence, this declaring war on Great Britain. The war lasted until the Treaty of Paris in 1783. The rebels won and founded the United States of America[[File:CrappyWhore.jpg]] The first government document was the Articles of Confederation. These articles gave the states immense power and deamed Congress near powerless. Once this was seen as insufficient, the Constitution was formed. The United States of America is a populous and wealthy, democratic English speaking country in [[North America]]. There is freedom of religion.
