Then Judah said to Tamar, his daughter-in-law, "Remain a widow in your father's house, until Shelah, my son, is grown up;" for he said, "Lest he also die, like his brothers." Tamar went and lived in her father's house.

Greek | ειπεν δε ιουδας θαμαρ τη νυμφη αυτου καθου χηρα εν τω οικω του πατρος σου εως μεγας γενηται σηλωμ ο υιος μου ειπεν γαρ μηποτε αποθανη και ουτος ωσπερ οι αδελφοι αυτου απελθουσα δε θαμαρ εκαθητο εν τω οικω του πατρος |
