Hebrew וידבר העם באלהים ובמשה למה העליתנו ממצרים למות במדבר כי אין לחם ואין מים ונפשנו קצה בלחם הקלקל׃
Greek και κατελαλει ο λαος προς τον θεον και κατα μωυση λεγοντες ινα τι εξηγαγες ημας εξ αιγυπτου αποκτειναι ημας εν τη ερημω οτι ουκ εστιν αρτος ουδε υδωρ η δε ψυχη ημων προσωχθισεν εν τω αρτω τω
Latin locutusque contra Deum et Moysen, ait : Cur eduxisti nos de Ægypto, ut moreremur in solitudine ? deest panis, non sunt aquæ : anima nostra jam nauseat super cibo isto levissimo.
KJV And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
