Psalm 122 Text (WEB)
  1. I was glad when they said to me, "Let's go to Yahweh's house!"
  2. Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem;
  3. Jerusalem, that is built as a city that is compact together;
  4. where the tribes go up, even Yah's tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to the name of Yahweh.
  5. For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David's house.
  6. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.
  7. Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
  8. For my brothers' and companions' sakes, I will now say, "Peace be within you."
  9. For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good. A Song of Ascents.

  1. שיר המעלות לדוד שמחתי באמרים לי בית יהוה נלך׃
  2. עמדות היו רגלינו בשעריך ירושלם׃
  3. ירושלם הבנויה כעיר שחברה־לה יחדו׃
  4. ששם עלו שבטים שבטי־יה עדות לישראל להדות לשם יהוה׃
  5. כי שמה ישבו כסאות למשפט כסאות לבית דויד׃
  6. שאלו שלום ירושלם ישליו אהביך׃
  7. יהי־שלום בחילך שלוה בארמנותיך׃
  8. למען אחי ורעי אדברה־נא שלום בך׃
  9. למען בית־יהוה אלהינו אבקשה טוב לך׃

  1. ωδη των αναβαθμων ευφρανθην επι τοις ειρηκοσιν μοι εις οικον κυριου
  2. εστωτες ησαν οι ποδες ημων εν ταις αυλαις σου
  3. ιερουσαλημ οικοδομουμενη ως πολις ης η μετοχη αυτης επι το
  4. εκει γαρ ανεβησαν αι φυλαι φυλαι κυριου μαρτυριον τω ισραηλ του εξομολογησασθαι τω ονοματι
  5. οτι εκει εκαθισαν θρονοι εις κρισιν θρονοι επι οικον
  6. ερωτησατε δη τα εις ειρηνην την ιερουσαλημ και ευθηνια τοις αγαπωσιν
  7. γενεσθω δη ειρηνη εν τη δυναμει σου και ευθηνια εν ταις πυργοβαρεσιν
  8. ενεκα των αδελφων μου και των πλησιον μου ελαλουν δη ειρηνην περι
  9. ενεκα του οικου κυριου του θεου ημων εξεζητησα αγαθα

  1. Canticum graduum. Lætatus sum in his quæ dicta sunt mihi : In domum Domini ibimus.
  2. Stantes erant pedes nostri in atriis tuis, Jerusalem.
  3. Jerusalem, quæ ædificatur ut civitas, cujus participatio ejus in idipsum.
  4. Illuc enim ascenderunt tribus, tribus Domini, testimonium Israël, ad confitendum nomini Domini.
  5. Quia illic sederunt sedes in judicio, sedes super domum David.
  6. Rogate quæ ad pacem sunt Jerusalem, et abundantia diligentibus te.
  7. Fiat pax in virtute tua, et abundantia in turribus tuis.
  8. Propter fratres meos et proximos meos, loquebar pacem de te.
  9. Propter domum Domini Dei nostri, quæsivi bona tibi.

  3. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
  4. Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
  5. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
  6. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
  7. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
  8. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
