Welcome to WikiChristian - CURRENTMONTHNAME CURRENTDAY, CURRENTYEAR - the free Christian Encyclopedia, Public Domain Library for all Christian works and wiki community for all believers. This is a collective project to build an open source free Christian encyclopedia that anyone can edit and contribute to our knowledge and understanding on Christianity, the Bible and its believers. We started in January 2005 and are now working on NUMBEROFARTICLES articles in the English version. Some of our pages are being targeted for vandalism by people who are pronounced antichristians - please help us keep the content clean by keeping a close eye on the Recent changes and rolling back the pages as needed. more on this > in the Urgent Messages section.
Message to the vandals - If you have something to say, then perhaps instead of destroying pages with obscenities about God, you could write a serious article titled "Why I don't believe in God" under the Atheism section or "Why I am into the occult" under the the Wikka and witch-craft section. Otherwise, please remember that if you don't like this internet site, then you don't have to visit.

Becoming a Christian > To become a Christian, you must believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. When you accept the fact that you have disobeyed God, but also accept Jesus' death on the cross as punishment for your sins (in your place and on your behalf), you have become a Christian. In doing so, you will live forever (in Heaven). Believing that Jesus is Lord means glorifying Him and trying to learn what pleases Him (through the Bible). God will forgive you when you make mistakes because Jesus took your punishment for those mistakes, but if you are truly serving Him then you will also want to try to do His will. You may think that you'll lose personal freedom by doing this, but the truth is, you will be gaining freedom from sin, and freedom from the law that none of us can keep. And with this freedom comes love, joy, and peace. Nominate an article for Featured Article.
