I think we should make a very short statement of beliefs. I used to be against this idea but, given that I am hoping that people contribute to the Biblical Commentary sections, I think we should have a '''very brief''' statement of beliefs so that people editing have at least the starting point that the the Bible is God's word. What that means exactly would perhaps be different for different individuals, but at least it would be something. I think a second belief should be an adherence to the Nicene Creed. I know that many Christians don't feel the need such a creed, but at least that would maintain users who accept fundamental Christian doctrines such as the Trinity, and so would exclude some of the sects this would ensure users write from the perspective of the mainstream denominations, and not one of the sects that want to be called considered Christian but are not considered Christian by mainstream denominationsdeny the Trinity and Jesus' deity. So, my proposal is that the core beliefs of WikiChristian areshould be
* A loving God
* Acceptance of the Nicene Creed
