== Commentary ==Throughout the [[gospel of John]] Jesus is recorded numerous times saying "I am...". In John 14:6 we are reminded that Jesus said that he is the only way to the [[God the Father]]. Jesus was talking to his disciples when he said this. John 14:6 is a verse that supports [[exclusivism]], the the teaching that only Jesus can bring about a person's forgiveness and salvation and that other religions cannot provide this.
