Justification is when [[God]] declares the sinner free from [[sin]] thruough [[Jesus]]' sacrifice on the [[cross]]. So to be justified by faith is to beleive that God has declared you are free of sins through Jesus. This is what is meant when [[Christians]] ask, "Have you found Jesus?" or "Have you accepted Jesus as your savior?" This type of salvation releases the sinner from having to "prove" themselves to God. The [[Bible]] tells us that our good deeds are like dirty rags and that we have all fallen short of the glory of God.
This type of [[salvation]] can sometimes lead people to believe they are spared God's wrath and they may continue to sin. This is not true since the Bible says that a believer is required to live a holy life for God's glory.
