* "Song of the Year" is an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1’s Save the Music Foundation, and the Song of the Year judges are some of the biggest names in music, including many Grammy Award winners. In February 2007, Susan G. Acheson was recognized as a finalist by Song of The Year for her exceptional songwriting ability for the song "Threshold". Susan competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor. And in December 2007, Susan G. Acheson received an honorable mention from Song of The Year for her song "Lord, I Offer You My Life".
