The Confession of Peter in Matthew 16
The Confession of Peter is a statement made by the apostle Peter, recorded in Matthew 16, Mark 8 and Luke 9, in which Peter acknowledges Jesus to be the Christ (or Messiah - meaning the Anointed One).
