Commentary
stubIn the second chapter of the Gospel of Mark, Jesus forgives the sins of a paralyzed man, raising the anger of the Jewish religious teachers. To show that he has authority to forgive sins, he then heals the man. He also shows that he has authority over the Sabbath when he picks grain to eat on it, and he calls a "sinner", Levi, to be his disciple.
