Hebrew ושומר האסורים נעור משנתו ויהי כראתו את דלתות המשמר נפתחות וישלף חרבו ויבקש לאבד את עצמו בחשבו כי ברחו האסורים׃
Greek εξυπνος δε γενομενος ο δεσμοφυλαξ και ιδων ανεωγμενας τας θυρας της φυλακης σπασαμενος μαχαιραν ημελλεν εαυτον αναιρειν νομιζων εκπεφευγεναι τους δεσμιους
Latin Expergefactus autem custos carceris, et videns januas apertas carceris, evaginato gladio volebat se interficere, æstimans fugisse vinctos.
KJV And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
