I met Ron when we were both attending what is now Tyndale College and Seminary in September 1997. I 'adopted' him as a 'little brother' and we became very close friends ever since. Ron later was the emcee, organist and one of the groomsmen at my wedding. Since his move to Belleville, he has shown tremendous grace in learning how to fix up an old house and that grace has deepened during some years working through painful problems with this hips. Despite these setbacks, Ron has been a strong internet evangelist, encourager and Christian public relations person per excellence. I would say one of his favourite sayings is "How are you today?" since he always speaks to people who serve him in restaurants, stores, hotels and the like. Ron loves to laugh, loves worship music, and would really love to go to New York City to see the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. In some ways he's like a big kid, loving Tigger in Winnie the Pooh, but in other ways, he's older than his years. While his hips are in transition (before being replaced) he is seldom seen without his third leg (cane) or his other legs (crutches) but he gets around surprisingly fast. When Ron is better, I know that he will be even more a man used by the Lord to draw people to Him (through Acts Ministries Christian Evangelism and through everyday life)
