Salvation is the term word used io to describe the work of [[God]] 's rescue of his people. It is especially used to describe the work of God in saving his people from [[sin]] and condemnation, resulting in forgiveness, [[righteousness]] (being forgiven) and [[eternal life]]. In Theology, the study of salvation is called '''soteriology''', from ihe Greek [[soteria]] meaning “salvation”.
