Talk pages of templates are unique because they include regular "Discussion" as well as official documentation for the template itself. For this reason, <code>{&#123;{{PAGENAME}}&#125;}</code> sets up level-one headers (<nowiki>=Documentation= and =Discussion=</nowiki>) in order to allow a logical use of the "+" tab at the top of the page. Ideally, all template talk pages should use the doctl template.

== Usage ==
<!-- Abstract usage of the template -->

<code>{&#123;{{PAGENAME}}&#125;}</code> does not have any parameters. It should be the first thing added to an empty template talk page using [[meta:Help:Substitution|substitution]], i.e. <code><nowiki>{{subst:doctl}}</nowiki></code>. Everything in the Documentation section should then be filled out.

== Example ==
This talk page is an example of how it works.

Use the talk page of the [[Wikible:Sandbox]] to check the unedited output of <code><nowiki>{{subst:doctl}}</nowiki></code>.
