It seems to me that the Bible is quite clear about issues of sex. Jesus is especially clear. He says that even looking at a woman to lust after her is to commit aldultery in your heart. Jesus also said Be perfect as your father in heaven is perfect. We have been set high standards, but that is what we should aim for. Our lives should be about worshiping and glorifying God and being obedient to his will. He has saved us from our sin, and we should respond with a complete change in our lives and live completely for him. He has commanded that sex is only to occur within a marriage between a woman and a man and we should obey... I think it's interesting, that (at least where I come from) the churches that are embracing new and modern and progressive philosophies about sex outside of marriage and homosexuality are the same churches that have empty pews week after week.
