Wikichristian is growing everyday and we are looking for dedicated Christian leaders and visionaries who would like to be wiki sysops and editors. As a new project, we are still in the formative stage. If you are interested in playing an active role in this unique collaborative effort, please contact one of the Sysops (list of sysops) with a brief testimony. While you can contribute as a voluntary editor without being a sysop, you get special permissions to administer the wiki as a sysop. You do not require any technical background in order to become a sysop.

Wikichristian vision

Wikichristian aims to serve as a Christian encyclopedia covering and linking everything Christian on the internet and be a thriving wiki Christian community where Christians can discuss their views and understandings of Christianity.

Goals for 2005:

  • Expansion of the Free Bible Dictionary and introductions to the books of the Bible
  • Expansion of Christian Web Directory, Local Church listings and WikiNode
  • Expansion of song lyrics repository
  • Addition of various devotionals written by contributors
  • Addition of various short articles on interesting Biblical/Christian subjects including opinion articles

You can help WikiChristian achieve its vision by contributing to our goals, by telling other people about WikiChristian, and by encouraging them to contribute. Not in to writing articles? That's okay, you can contribute in other ways, like helping us design a new logo!

Directory Listing of Churches

Please visit the Directory listing of churches around the world and add your church into the database. It would be a wonderful and remarkable thing if WikiChristian could have a listing of all the churches in the world with a short description of the church making a note of the service times and the address. For example, the church I go to is St Matthew's and St Bart's Anglican Churches in Adelaide, South Australia, which can be reached by following: Churches in Australasia and the Pacific islands -> Churches in Australia -> Churches in South Australia -> Churches in Adelaide and its suburbs. So, if your a regular attender of a church, why not add it to the database? --Graham grove 09:49, 19 Sep 2005 (EDT)
